About

Dr. Lagudu Surinaidu, with a Master’s in Hydrology and a Ph.D. in Geophysics from Andhra University, currently serves as a Scientist-D at the National Institute of Hydrology (NIH), Roorkee. His prior roles include PostDoctoral Fellow at National University of Singapore, senior technical officer at CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) and Special Project Scientist at International Water Management Insitute (IWMI). Dr. Surinaidu has extensive experience in groundwater and integrated surface-groundwater hydrological modeling, environmental impact assessment, groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling, hydro-geochemistry, and near-surface geophysical techniques, with a specialization in coastal aquifer modeling. Recognized for his contributions, he has authored and coauthored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications and received four awards. His expertise also includes climate and anthropogenic change impact modeling on water resources and Big Data and Machine learning applications.
