Dr. Sanjay Kumar is currently working as Scientist G & Head (GWHD) at National Institute of Hydrology, Roorkee. He received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Delhi Technical University (DTU), India. He pursued his B.E. in Civil Engineering from MNNIT Allahabad and obtained his M.E. in Hydraulics and Flood Control from DTU, Delhi. He has had more than 27 years of research experience in the field of hydrology. His research interests include surface water hydrology, flood modeling, design flood estimation, flood frequency analysis, climate change studies, time series modeling and reliability & uncertainty analysis of hydrologic systems.
