This work deals with investigation of organics and nitrogen removal in deep constructed wetlands treating domestic and hospital wastewater
This work deals with the performance evaluation of deep wetlands in terms of removal of coliforms, pathogens and antibiotic resistant bacteria.
This work deals with the study of movement of water through lab scale sub-surface flow vertical up-flow wetlands through application of an inert tracer in order to understand the hydrodynamic characteristics like mixing, residence time and short-circuiting within these systems.
Enrichment of anammox bacteria was attempted in lab scale batch experiment to assess the contribution of anammox bacteria in deep wetlands.
Analysis of secondary data from VFCW for organics (n=82), nitrogen (n=76) and phosphorous (n=55) removals is being carried out to derive correlations of loading rates with different parameters.
